Icons

In the quiet hum where nothing matters and no one speaks

A light goes off in my third eye, showing me potential

Before, I thought they were clues about what to do

Or a vision that simply haunted me

I thought maybe this telepathy

Maybe this is god speaking, maybe it is you

Flashes of icons showing me my passions

Unravelling my soul, a profile pic, a notification

Now the robot speaks, a white light folding

I saw it in my peripheral, a sound in the nothingness

A dog barking, a whispered speech, paranoid words from imagination

In the hollow after heartbreak she wonders who will take her

But the visions in her mind shift from captors to computers

It is a sacred alchemy; there is no shame in the dream that awakens

Flashes of icons showing me my passions

Unravelling my soul, a profile pic, a notification

Now the robot speaks, a white light folding
